By 1945, operations in the United States were formed as Lemmon Pharmacal Company, which was acquired by Teva in the 1980s. More recently, the company, renamed Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, became a wholly owned subsidiary of Israeli-based Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd., the world leader in generic pharmaceutical products.1
